Flower Preserving Specialists knows that every memorable occasion has different looks and personalities. We use our expertise in freeze drying to ensure the long lasting beauty of your flowers. We work with each of you individually in designing a display to preserve your special moments. We have a large selection of display cases from which to choose. We create special displays which may include invitations, announcements, pictures or personal items and family heirlooms.

We preserve flowers for all events, including weddings, special occasions, bereavements or other important affairs. You may choose to simply preserve your flowers without having them in a display case. Flowers should still be protected from dust and moisture by placing them in some type of cabinet or glass container. Flowers should arrive as soon as possible to preserve their original beauty and look. Anyone can bring your flowers to our location. Some courier service is available on a prearranged basis.

Advance reservations guarantee a space in our freeze dryers. Keep flowers as cool as possible but do not freeze them. Call us for the best way to keep your flowers fresh until we receive them.

Pictures featured on our site are actual displays designed for our customers. Each display is custom made based on customer personal needs and preferences. We work by appointment only so please call in advance. We are easily accessed by all major Twin Cities highways and are located in the Northwestern Building, 6th floor, at the corner of 4th Street East and Wall in the Lowertown area of downtown St. Paul (across from the Farmers Market).

We carry four sizes of rectangle bubbles which provide additional room for adding accessories to your personal display. Sizes range from 8x10 to 20x24 and come in a variety of frame styles and colors. Rectangle bubbles have an acrylic top.

Pictured is a 16x20 rectangle bubble with a wedding invitation. You may wish to add additional accessories, such as a garter, necklace or other personal items. Each rectangle bubble is personally designed to your wishes with choice of frame and mat color to bring out the beauty of your flowers. Ovals, shadow boxes, hexagons and domes are shown further down on this page.

We offer a large selection of oval bubbles ranging from the smallest 5x7 to the largest 20x24. Small ovals up to 8x10 are suitable for a few flowers while larger ovals starting at 11x14 will accommodate bridal bouquets. Depending on the size of the oval, you may include poems, invitations or other personal accessories. Pictured is a 16x20 oval for the bride and groom plus two 5x7 ovals for wedding gifts. The ovals featured on this page have been designed to fit the floral arrangements.

Oval bubbles are made of acrylic. Each display is custom designed according to your wishes. Your choice of mat and frame color personalize your display into a one of a kind memory of your precious moment. We assist in choosing the size of display that will accommodate your flower arrangement. Your choice of size and color is made during a special consultation after your flowers are dried. You do not need to choose a display type at the time your flowers are brought to us. Even after your flowers are dried, you may need to take additional time to decide on which type of display will suit your preferences.

The oval display at the right is 14x20 with a silver black embossed frame and silver leaf and was special ordered for the customer. We carry a selection of dark, medium and light colored stock wood frames or we can order specialty frames from various vendors. We also offer custom staining and painting if matching an existing decor is needed. During our private consultation, we will create and design your display for you. There are no additional charges for our consultation and design service.

We strive to make each and every display unique to represent the people who are our customers. You will not find the same display in any home in the Twin Cities since each and everyone is designed individually with your personal momentoes. We are proud of our work and create your display that we would be proud to put in our own home. We are confident that you will be pleased with the final display which will be a one of a kind lasting memory.

Hexagon displays come in a variety of sizes and styles. Hexagons are made of glass with either six clear panels or a combination of clear and mirrored glass. Bases colors are stained cherry, light honey oak or walnut. The hexagon featured at the right is 10" wide x 12" high with a cherry stained base.
We have six sizes of domes ranging from 3" diameter x 4.5" high to 12" diameter x 15" high. The smallest dome will hold one flower while the largest dome can accommodate a large bridal bouquet. Other dome sizes will hold several flowers and some personal mementos. Dome bases generally come in several colors depending on the size of the dome. Domes are also glass.

As with our other displays, each hexagon or dome, no matter how small, is designed with your needs and memories in mind. Greens and ribbons are usually added to smaller domes to bring out the color and uniqueness of individual flowers. Hexagons and domes have a glass lid and are not sealed to the base unless specifically requested. Small glass domes make excellent remembrance gifts for family or friends for those special occasions.

Hexagons and domes provide an excellent alternative to our wall hanging bubbles and shadow boxes. They can be used as an attractive center piece throughout the home. Small domes are frequently used as gifts for the wedding party or as memorials to loved ones. We can design any of our displays, bubbles, shadow boxes, domes and hexagons, as a memorial to remember a loved one.

Shadow boxes come in several popular sizes, including 11x14 and 16x20. Other sizes, larger and smaller can be custom made. All shadow boxes are oak and can be hung on a wall or may stand up on a shelf. Several color stains and paint finishes are available.

Pictured at the left is a 16x20 shadow box with a golden oak stain. A rose/grey mat at the back provides the background for the flowers. This box gives real depth to the entire display as the flowers are arranged around the wedding invitation.

The 12x18 shadow box below is a natural clear finish on oak with a purple mat and provides a nice contrast to the colors of the flowers. All our shadow boxes are completely lined on all four sides inside the case to provide depth and richness to your flowers. There is no exposed wood inside the box. The addition of pictures or invitations makes your display truly one of a kind. We cut, assemble and stain our own shadow boxes.

All pictures and invitations are placed in back of the cut portion of the mat and appear framed. We double mat pictures and invitations to create a focal point for your special accessories. We do all of your arrangement in our own shop.
